The project to recycle and replace the artificial turf of the Esportiu Rocafort futsal field carried out by Sports & Landscape by Ignasi Senabre has set some records.
This football pitch is located on the roof of a building inside a block of the well-known Eixample district in Barcelona, on Calle Floridablanca 41. Due to the difficulty of access, Sports & Landscape had to rent a pair of large cranes for the execution of the work, for the transfer of the needed materials.
Even so, the works were carried out in just one week during the month of December, including the removal of the old turf and the placement of a state-of-the-art artificial turf, 50mm monofilament, filled with sand and SBR rubber.
With an area of 800 square meters, the Esportiu Rocafort futsal field is a luxury sports facility in the city center. In addition to safety and high performance, it represents a firm commitment to the environment and sustainability.
