The maintenance of football pitches is clearly one of our competitive advantages over our competitors, because it is part of the expert, comprehensive and individualised support we offer our clients. We focus on understanding their needs and providing the best solutions in an efficient way, and we seek a long-term relationship, covering the entire life cycle of our product. In fact, this after-sales service is ISO certified.

But we go further. The maintenance of artificial grass at Sports & Landscape by Ignasi Senabre is not just an assignment. It is inspired by our firm commitment to sustainability and care for the environment. It is very simple: good maintenance makes it possible to extend the life cycle of the paving.

In this sense, irrigation is key to these conservation operations, as it prevents the degradation of the material and avoids the pitch from losing its sporting capacity. In other words: it is not compulsory to water artificial turf because it is a synthetic material, but it is advisable.

This maintenance programme also makes it possible to ensure the biomechanical performance of the turf to guarantee the safety, performance and biomechanical comfort of the players. These operations, rather than repair work, are a system of prevention, to prevent problems from occurring and, if they do occur, to resolve them as soon as possible.

Bureau Veritas has certified that the carbon footprint calculation we performed at Sports & Landscape by Ignasi Senabre for the artificial turf renovation process, using the innovative 4M method, is audited and in accordance with the requirements of ISO-TS 14067:2013.

Visit and diagnosis

Our team of experts visits the sports facility and assesses various parameters of the turf and the pitch:

Height (mm) and type (fibrillated, monofilament, mixed, etc.)

Type of turf (SBR, thermoplastic, etc.)

Hours of use

Environment (vegetation, pollution, etc.)

Type of base (natural ground, asphalt, rubber base, etc.)

Maintenance plan

Based on the diagnosis, a maintenance programme is drawn up for each field and the frequency of work. All operations are carried out by Sports & Landscape’s specialised staff, using our own machinery.
