A new project coming true, another Cruyff Court was inaugurated. This time it was the Zaragoza court, which has been sponsored by Ander Herrera.
The inauguration was attended by Ander Herrera, player of Paris Saint-Germain F.C .; Pati Roura, director of the Cruyff Foundation; Jorge Azcón, mayor of Zaragoza; the Deputy Mayor Sara Fernández, and the Councilor for Sports, Cristina García, as well as Ignasi Senabre as manager of Sports & Landscape.
The Cruyff Court Ander Herrera inaugurated in Zaragoza is the eighth promoted thanks to the agreement between the Cruyff Foundation and the ‘la Caixa’ Foundation to boost sport as a means of inclusion and social cohesion. Located in the Bruil park, this court has the support of the Zaragoza City Council. Sports & Landscape is the supplier for the execution and installation of the artificial turf of these small free-use soccer fields that recover and reactivate the social and sports life in the neighbourhoods.
The agreement foresees the creation of a total of 13 Cruyff Courts in different provinces of Spain, in addition to the maintenance and revitalization of the installation, so that in the coming months other artificial turf installation works will follow.
The objective of this project is to promote sports among children and young people in vulnerable situations and instill values such as responsibility, respect, inclusion, team play and education in healthy habits.
Exclusive partner of the Cruyff Foundation for the design, manufacture and assembly of these football fields, Sports & Landscape is one hundred percent involved in this social project, convinced of the positive impact that companies have to generate around us, within the framework of our corporate social responsibility policy linked to compliance with the SDGs of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
