The Salt City Council has commissioned Sports & Landcape to renovate the artificial turf of the Pla de Salt soccer field. The works, consisting of replacing the turf installed in 2005, both in the soccer field 11 (which includes two soccer fields 7) as in the warm-up area, have already finished.
Sports & Landscape won the public tender called by the Salt Town Hall with one hundred points out of the hundred possible in the evaluation phase of the project.
The works have been carried out during the month of September, framed in a contract that also includes various preventive maintenance actions over the next four years, as well as the installation of ball-netting behind the warm-up goals.
As explained by the Councilor for Sports of Salt, Jesús Vilaplana, “with the renovation of the artificial turf of this field, two years of dignity of this facility are culminated, which have served to improve grassroots football in the municipality of Salt”.
