The consultancy specialized in sustainable artificial turf surfaces Sports & Landscape has obtained a grant from ACCIÓ, the agency for the competitiveness of the company of the Generalitat de Catalunya, to generate new business opportunities in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the Agenda 2030 of the United Nations.
In the grant application, Sports & Landscape has presented a project to generate new business opportunities in the market for the sustainable construction of sports and leisure facilities, aiming at achieving the B Corp certification.
B Corp is a global movement made up of people who use business to create a positive impact on society. It is a transformative movement, where the organization is part of the solution and not the problem. As its slogan says, B Corp is the community of the best companies in the world, which are certified as B Corp, a certification that Sports & Landscape aspires to achieve.
The first contact with B Corp was through Indescat, the Catalan sports industry cluster, in a pilot project on shared value, in which Sports & Landscape was one of the five finalist companies among the 38 participants.
