Historic athletics national, with Polytan track
More than 700 top-level athletes from 125 clubs have competed in Nerja 2022 to qualify for the next international athletic events, which will take place at the World Cup in Eugene in July and the European Championship in Munich in August.
The championship has been characterized by the great records achieved, up to 21 in all categories, including the best world record of the year in triple jump, eight new Spanish records and many Andalusian and championship records.
The track of the Enrique López Cuenca sports stadium is made with the Rekortan resin system, from the world’s leading company Polytan, of which Sports & Landscape is a business partner for Catalonia, Navarra and the Basque Country.
The tournament has been divided into three intense days, where different throwing, jumping and running tests have been developed, both for men and women.
