The consultancy specialized in high-performance sports surfaces has not only been one of the sponsors of the event. The manager of the company, Ignasi Senabre, has also intervened, giving the presentation “Present and future of artificial turf on soccer fields”.
The conference, which has been held in Salou, has been attended by municipal sports managers, general and sports directors of clubs, mayors and sports councillors, football coordinators, sports tourism companies and other agents related to the management and provision of services in the soccer fields. For this reason, it has been of special interest for Sports & Landscape to explain the state of the artificial turf market for football fields, and the innovative path that it is marking towards sustainability.
In addition to the presentation given by Ignasi Senabre, other topics of interest have been discussed, such as the impact of current regulations and laws on relations between the owners of football pitches and the entities that usually use them, such as sports clubs, the implantation of recording cameras for training sessions and matches, and the irruption of tech in the world of football with special attention to base football.
The day organized by ACGEP has included a visit to the facilities of the Salou Sports Center complex and a very useful networking lunch.
