Sports & Landscape has participated as a sponsor in the ninth edition of EFISport, a benchmark event in the Catalan sports sector on energy, environmental, economic and social efficiency in sports facilities, organized by Indescat, the Catalan sports industry cluster, with the collaboration of the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia and the Bioenergy Cluster of Catalonia.
The event took place on November 11 at the CAR of Sant Cugat, and included a marketplace where our consultancy company presented the latest solutions for sustainable sports surfaces.
With the title “Energy efficiency in sports facilities during and after COVID-19”, the conference served to highlight the concern of sports facilities for the sustainability and efficiency of these infrastructures. Experts, owners, managers and providers of efficient and innovative solutions for sports facilities gave the presentations and round tables, with the outstanding participation of Irene Corbella, head of the Environmental Health Service of the Public Health Agency of Catalonia; Joana Ortiz, researcher at the Energy Research Institute of Catalonia, and Mariano Bordas, head of the Sports Equipment service of the Consell Català de l’Esport.
The meeting, in which Sports & Landscape was one of the sponsors, brought together some 150 professionals from the sector interested in sustainability, which is a good indicator of the path that Indescat is setting in this regard.
