Sports & Landscape has attended the inauguration of the first Cruyff Court in the Valencia Community. It is located in the Benicalap neighborhood of Valencia and has been mentored by Carlos Soler, a Valencia CF footballer.
In addition to the athlete, the event was chaired by the president of the Cruyff Foundation, Susila Cruyff; the director of the Cruyff Foundation, Pati Roura; the commercial manager of the Education and Marketing corporate area of the ”la Caixa” Foundation, Alejandro Fernández; the vice mayor of Valencia, Sandra Gómez, and the deputy mayor and councilor for Sports of the Valencia City Council, Pilar Bernabé, as well as Ignasi Senabre, manager of Sports & Landscape, who is the proud supplier in charge of the assembly of these soccer fields with social purpose.
It is an initiative of the Cruyff Foundation and the ”la Caixa” Foundation for the construction, maintenance and revitalization of a total of 13 Cruyff Courts, with priority for their location in disadvantaged areas to promote inclusion and social transformation of especially vulnerable children and young people through the practice of sport. In this case, the Valencia City Council has collaborated by handing over the space, taking charge of the maintenance and participating in the organization of activities.
Sports & Landscape is the exclusive supplier of the Cruyff Foundation for the installation and assembly of these small free-use soccer fields, with which it is intended to instill, through sport, values such as responsibility, respect and fair play, in addition to education in healthy habits to avoid sedentary lifestyle and childhood obesity.
