The EU Industry Days 2022, which is the most important event in European industry, organized by the European Commission, this year included the session “Catalonia Strategy to Create Shared Value through Clusters”, where a few minutes were dedicated to presenting the success case of Sports & Landscape as a company that generates a positive impact on society.
The session on the Catalan strategy was given by Joan Martí Estévez, director of the ACCIÓ Clusters Unit, and also included the participation of those responsible for some of the Catalan clusters, such as Indescat, the sports industry cluster of Catalonia.
In the speech, Martí Estévez presented Catalonia’s strategy to generate shared value through clusters and using B-Corp tools. Next, Indescat presented the pilot project on shared value, in which Sports & Landscape was one of the five finalist companies among the 38 participants. From our consultancy, he highlighted how Sports & Landscape’s environmental and social commitment has been a source of strategic transformation, which permeates not only all the company’s actions, but also the website and messages to the media.
